Between The Pages

Her heart waits

Suspended in time

Without breath

Skipping beats

A pause, refreshing

Yet achingly slow

Delaying the excitement

All hope placed

In the writing of the next chapter

The anticipation of a story

Not yet set to print

Let It Go

Although time has passed they still come to me

In my dreams they still torment

Even in their death memories do not decompose

Logic tells me I am no longer in danger

My heart yearns to trust

To give my all to another these thoughts must abate

There is no room for hate

Fear and torment will not be my fate

There will be a way

I still have faith

Wavering ResolveĀ

This is how I wanted it

Exactly what I said

Am I but a coward

Dreams running through my head

Keep your heart away from me

Just don’t you go to far

I want you to be close to me

Not so close, you see the scars

I want to share me with you

But only just so much

I can not tell you everything

Only that I want your touch

This is what I wanted

Exactly how I said

When I close my eyes at night

Wishes, fill me with dread

Beg My Lover

Really I don’t mean to beg

Thoughts of you have filled my head

Your lips on mine, please take my hand

You’ve lit a fireĀ I can’t withstand

In your arms I want to be

Through my desire I can not see

Only you can quench this flame

You only have to speak my name

Please don’t make me wait too long

My need for you has become so strong

Your touch became a drug to me

Lover please do hear my plea

Starry Sky’s

I sang among the moonlit sky

Danced across the starry night

The tune that played was soft and smooth

I could not keep my mind from you

You knew exactly what to do

In your arms

You sang my song

I knew this night would not last long

You fade away

With dawns first light

I try to hold on with all my might

The birds they sing

I must wake

Today I’ll live with my heartache

I’ll search for you

When night falls again

I’ll call your name to the wind

Should the moon forget to rise

I’ll wait for you

In starry sky’s
